Closing ceremony of the Twining Light Project "Developing of the National Information System for Nature Protection Supervision”” (EU IPA 2009 PROGRAMME)
On Thursday, 08 March 2012, a formal closing ceremony marked the end of the IPA 2009 Twinning Light Project "Development of a national information system for nature protection supervision".
Workshop "Field Trials and Post-Release and Post-Market Monitoring of GMOs“ has been organized by the Ministry of Culture, Nature Protection Directorate and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) from Trieste with full financial support provided by the ICGEB. The workshop took place in the Hotel "Palace" from 5 to 7 December 2011.
Natura MANMON (Natura management and monitoring) project started on 17th October 2011, as one of the Contracts (Contract of Technical assistance – TA) signed between Central finance and contracting agency (CFCA) and Consortium Ramboll from Denmark and Naturebureau Ltd. From Great Britain. This project will be performed in the period of 18 months in the Republic of Croatia.
On Friday, 22 July 2011, at the Ministry of Culture, a formal opening ceremony marked the official start of the project "Development of a national information system for monitoring the protection of nature". The objective of this IPA 2009 Twinning Light Project is preservation of the existing biodiversity in Croatia, through the connecting of all institutions related to the implementation of nature protection supervision. The project, with the budget of 250.000 euros, is financed by the European Commission.
